Glycolic Acid has the smallest molecules of all Alpha Hydroxy Acids, making it a highly functional ingredient. Glycolic Acid, derived from fruits, is hydrophilic (attracted to and soluble in water) and helps to exfoliate old skin cells resulting in a radiant complexion. Alpha Hydroxy Acids are commonly used in skincare to diminish the look of lines and wrinkles while improving visible firmness and brightening the skin. AHA’s remarkable water-binding properties are ideal for people with normal to dry skin.

Lactic Acid is a mild exfoliant that works to prevent dryness and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is derived from fruits and is hydrophilic (attracted to and soluble in water). Lactic Acid also helps to exfoliate old skin cells resulting in a radiant complexion. Bakuchiol is derived from the seeds of Psoralea Corylifolia, known as the Babchi plant. The ingredient can promote healthy skin aging and is a natural alternative to retinol.

Beta Hydroxy Acid is also known as Salicylic Acid and is usually shortened to BHA. This ingredient helps to accelerate the skin’s exfoliation process to remove old skin cells. BHA is an oil-soluble, compared to Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which is a water-soluble acid. This means that Beta Hydroxy Acid can effectively dissolve excess oil and reduce the appearance of oily skin and blemishes. Beta Hydroxy Acid can soothe the appearance of temporarily redness and protect the skin from the visible effects of environmental stressors.

Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract is a natural salicylic acid (BHA). It can visibly calm the appearance of temporarily redness and accelerate the skin’s exfoliation process to remove old skin cells. This process helps improve the effectiveness of the upcoming skincare products. It may reduce the appearance of dull and uneven skin tone. BHA is an oil-soluble, compared to Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which is a water-soluble acid. This means that Beta Hydroxy Acid can effectively dissolve excess oil and reduce the appearance of oily skin and blemishes. Beta Hydroxy Acid can soothe the appearance of temporarily redness and protect the skin from the visible effects of environmental stressors.

Grapefruit Extract visibly rejuvenates skin and diminish the signs of aging that can be caused by environmental stressors. Grapefruit Extract is designed to restore smoothness, brightness and luminosity while visibly firming the skin.

Sodium Hyaluronate also known as Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a so-called special mucopolysaccharide naturally occurring in the human body. It is the most effective humectant available -a substance that promotes retention of moisture. Its unmatched hydrating properties increase smooth and soft skin while visibly diminishing wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid can attract moisture up to a thousand times its own weight. You can find both low and high molecular sodium hyaluronate in Verso products.

Yeast extract optimizes the level of hyaluronic acid in the skin, strengthening the skin to increase its resistance against environmental stressors. The overall result is a smooth and supple skin.

Environmentally friendly tiny beads from jojoba, that is made of biodegradable natural wax. Has a gentle exfoliating effect on the skin, being less harsh than a traditional scrub.

Micellar molecules are cleansing molecules, suspended in water, with both hydrophilic and hydrophobic qualities.

Naringenin instantly soothes and visibly calms the skin. Promotes daily protection against the visible effects of environmental stressors.

A completely new unique molecule, NEAR 1 (Niacinamidoethyl Retinoate). NEAR 1 is Verso’s patented molecule. It is a versatile skincare technology combining two hero ingredients: Vitamin A and Niacinamide. It is the outcome of our ambition to create an effective and stable Vitamin A technology causing little to no irritation. NEAR 1 is developed from
Vitamin A (Retinoic Acid) and Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide). After combining these ingredients, together with a unique link, a new vitamin A derivative (an ester of Vitamin A) is produced. The technology uses Niacinamide to further help stabilize and enhance the benefits of Vitamin A. This results in Vitamin A being more stable, gentle, and effective, there is nothing like it on the market.

Niacinamide is a stable water-soluble with a low molecular weight. Vitamin B3 helps to promote retention of moisture to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, spider veins, hyperpigmentation, and red blotchiness. It is topically used in cosmetics to promote appearance of even skin tone, diminish oily complexion and has been shown to have strengthening properties improving the natural skin protection.

Verso uses several types of oats as key ingredients; Avena Sativa Kernel Oil, Avena Sativa Kernel Flour, Fermented Avena Sativa Kernel Extract.

Synthetic perfume is added in some of the products, but without the most-common allergens. The scent is added to create a pleasant, luxury and wellbeing experience to your skin care routine.

Peptides are skin-loving ingredients that provide the skin with building blocks to help boost the skin's natural functions. There is a long list of what peptides can deliver to the skin and have therefore become a popular ingredient, which also suits sensitive skin. We have chosen to enhance some of our most effective products with peptides to prolong and maintain the results of our vitamin A complexes. Peptides can help strengthen the skin's natural defenses, brighten dull skin, and help maintain the skin's natural complexion.

The skin is made up of proteins (collagen and elastin), which are long chains of amino acids. The use of amino acids and peptides in cosmetics helps maintain healthy-looking skin with enhanced natural protection.

A flavonoid with strong antioxidant capacity. Phloretin has properties to visibly balance and calm the skin. It can diminish the appearance of oily skin, promoting fresh and healthy-looking skin.

Poly Hydroxy Acid, PHA, is available in different forms but we only include gluconolactone in our products. This is an ingredient that has properties reminding of the classic AHA, but PHA causes less irritation. The reason PHA is less irritating than AHA is because of its larger molecular structure. PHA has soothing, moisturizing and antioxidant benefits. It also helps with the exfoliating process on the skins surface. This form of PHA is gentle without compromising the visible results of soft and smooth skin. Can usually be used on sensitive skin.

Pullulan is a naturally occurring ingredient that creates a luxurious softness to the skin. It is an effective and stable carrier for functional ingredients.
